Senior Technical Manager (Java, React)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Manager with deep expertise in Java and React to lead our software development initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and hands-on guidance for projects leveraging Java-based backend and React-based frontend technologies.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of developers, promoting technical excellence, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices.

Project Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.

Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and long-term roadmaps.

Code Quality & Standards: Review and approve system designs, architecture, and code implementations to maintain alignment with engineering standards.

Scalability & Performance: Ensure systems are built for performance, scalability, and maintainability, following modern architectural practices.

Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, including Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Proficiency with React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• In-depth understanding of RESTful API design and integration.

• Experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git workflows.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Managerial Skills

• Proven experience leading and managing software development teams.

• Strong project management capabilities — planning, tracking, and delivering on time and within scope.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including reporting and alignment with senior leadership.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and React.

• 3+ years in a technical leadership or managerial capacity.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Certifications in Java, React, or cloud technologies are a plus.
