Senior Fullstack Python + React Developer

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Fullstack Python + React Developer to ensure the technical quality and integrity of our legal technology platform. This role requires deep expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on code review, best practice implementation, and close collaboration with our Chief Technology Officer. You will oversee contributions from our third-party development agency, ensuring all core code elements are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate code contributions from third-party developers against quality, performance, and security standards.

• Partner with the CTO to define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.

• Provide technical oversight on critical code components, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability.

• Identify and implement improvements to the codebase to optimize performance and reliability.

• Support external development teams in adopting modern development practices.

• Act as a mentor and technical authority, offering guidance and feedback to development teams.

• Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to align technical solutions with product requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record as a Senior Full Stack Developer or similar senior engineering role.

• Expertise across both front-end and back-end technologies, with strong knowledge of React and Python.

• Solid experience reviewing and improving code quality across distributed teams.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms, ideally AWS.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automated testing frameworks.

• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Prior experience in legal technology or financial services technology is required.
