Senior Fullstack Engineer (React & Node.js)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end for a seamless, mobile-first platform serving millions of users globally. In this role, you will work closely with Product and AI teams to design, build, and ship high-performance user experiences and scalable backend systems.

This is a hands-on role offering high autonomy and the opportunity to shape both the product and our engineering culture from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

Product Evolution

• Partner closely with the founding team to help define and evolve the product vision and technical direction.

Full Stack Development

• Design, build, and maintain performant React-based user interfaces and robust Node.js APIs and microservices.

End-to-End Feature Ownership

• Own features throughout their full lifecycle—from ideation and design to development, testing, and production launch.

Video & Data Integration

• Connect frontend experiences to complex data and video pipelines, delivering seamless 9:16 mobile-first video experiences.

Code Quality & Engineering Excellence

• Write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code across the entire stack, with a strong focus on scalability and reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Design, and AI engineers to push the boundaries of short-form storytelling and user engagement.

What You’ll Need

Experience

• 5+ years of professional full stack development experience.

Frontend Expertise

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, including Hooks, Context, state management, and performance optimization.

Backend Expertise

• 3+ years of experience building backend systems with Node.js using frameworks such as Express or NestJS.

Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Experience designing and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs.

Data & Infrastructure

• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/DynamoDB).

• Experience deploying and operating production applications in AWS, GCP, or Azure.

DevOps & Architecture

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and scalable system design.

Mindset

• Highly independent, accountable, and collaborative, with a strong startup mindset.

• Prior experience building B2B or SMB web platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Native or other mobile frameworks.

• Background in video streaming, content platforms, or social applications.

• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations (LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent-based systems).

• Experience building real-time features using WebSockets or pub/sub architectures.

• Prior experience working on high-scale consumer products serving millions of users.
