Senior Fullstack Engineer (React + Node.js)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Fullstack Engineer with deep expertise in React (frontend) and Node.js (backend) to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role with high autonomy and direct product impact — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, product-driven environments.

You’ll own features end-to-end, from design to deployment, helping to shape both the technical direction and engineering culture from the ground up. Working closely with product and AI teams, you’ll build a mobile-first platform designed to serve millions of users globally.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the entire lifecycle of new features — from concept, architecture, and development to deployment and monitoring.

• Frontend Development: Build and maintain high-quality, performant, and responsive UIs using React and modern web standards.

• Backend Development: Design and implement Node.js APIs and backend microservices to power scalable, data-rich applications.

• Integration: Connect complex video and data pipelines, enabling seamless 9:16 mobile-first video experiences.

• Code Quality: Deliver clean, modular, and testable code following best practices and modern development patterns.

• Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and AI teams to define technical direction and push the boundaries of short-form storytelling.

• Autonomy: Take initiative, make impactful technical decisions, and contribute to a culture of ownership and innovation.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React (Hooks, Context API, state management, performance optimization).

• 3+ years building Node.js backend systems (Express, NestJS, or similar).

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Experience designing and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Solid experience with both relational (Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases.

• Proven experience deploying applications in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and scalable architecture design.

• Background in building B2B or SMB web platforms.

• Self-starter with strong ownership, accountability, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with React Native or another cross-platform mobile framework.

• Background in video streaming, content platforms, or social media apps.

• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations (LLMs, prompt engineering, intelligent agents).

• Experience implementing real-time features (WebSockets, pub/sub systems).

• Prior experience building high-scale consumer products with millions of users.
