Fullstack Engineer

About Us

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer for a newly funded, seed-stage, AI-native startup building the next generation of digital experiences for collectibles and trading cards. Founded by two serial entrepreneurs with a track record of scaling category-defining companies—including a gaming unicorn—we are assembling our founding engineering team.

This team will define not just what we build, but how we build: our technical standards, product instincts, and engineering culture. We’re looking for engineers who are energized by ambiguity, biased toward action, and comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end.

The Role

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be a core contributor to the product experience from day one. You’ll operate across frontend and backend boundaries, shaping user-facing features, internal tooling, and the underlying systems that power them.

This is not a role for someone who wants narrowly defined tickets. You’ll be expected to identify problems, propose solutions, and ship polished, production-quality work with minimal direction.

What You’ll Own

Product Interfaces
Build and evolve modern, high-performance React applications, including complex SPAs and, where appropriate, micro-frontend architectures.

Frontend Architecture & Design Systems
Define component patterns, shared UI primitives, and frontend structure that scales with the product and team.

Internal Tools & Workflows
Design and implement internal systems such as admin dashboards, catalog management tools, and inventory controls that directly enable business operations.

API & Data Collaboration
Partner closely with backend engineers to define API contracts, data models, and client-server interaction patterns.

Fullstack Contributions
Contribute backend features and services (Node, Go, Kotlin, or similar) when it meaningfully accelerates product delivery.

Requirements

Experienced Builder
You have 4+ years of professional experience building production frontend systems, with deep expertise in React and TypeScript.

Strong Technical Judgment
You’re comfortable making architectural decisions around state management, component design, performance, and maintainability.

Backend-Aware
You’ve built or meaningfully worked with backend APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) and understand how frontend and backend tradeoffs interact.

Product-Driven
You care deeply about UX quality, visual polish, and building things that feel intuitive and solid—not just “done.”

High Ownership
You take responsibility for features from idea to production, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and don’t wait to be told what to do.
