Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Own the design and implementation of the Modern Data Stack within a fragmented and low-maturity environment.
• Foundation Building: Construct a production-grade data foundation from scratch, ensuring scalability and fast time-to-value.
• Data Integration: Reconcile diverse sources (CRM Batch, Piano, WordPress, and analytics tools) into a single source of truth.
• Architecture Design: Implement robust data warehouse architectures aligned with critical business use cases.
• Pipeline Orchestration: Develop and optimize resilient data pipelines using Airbyte, SQL, and various orchestration tools.
• Master Data Management: Define and implement MDM approaches, including Golden Record and Master ID strategies, across inconsistent sources.
• Modeling & Analytics: Translate ambiguous needs into scalable data models and deliver ready-to-use datasets for churn prediction and CRM activation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate trade-offs, risks, and architecture decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering within Modern Data Stack environments.
• SQL Mastery: 4+ years of deep experience with advanced SQL and data transformation at scale.
• Pipeline Development: 4+ years of experience building robust, production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Proven experience with data warehouse architectures such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of analytical and operational data modeling, data quality frameworks, and identity resolution.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work autonomously in low-structure environments with a strong focus on business impact over technical output.
• Language: English proficiency at a B2 level or above.

Preferred Qualifications (Big Plus)

• Experience in subscription-based businesses, digital media, or marketing-driven organizations.
• A track record of building data platforms from scratch under tight time and resource constraints.
• Hands-on experience with Airbyte, dbt, and modern orchestration tools.
• Experience integrating with CRM and product analytics platforms like Batch or Piano.
• Exposure to churn modeling pipelines and production ML/data science workflows.

Project Tech Stack

• Backend: Xano (low-code back-end as a service), NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, TRPC.
• Frontend: Next.js, Custom React frontends.
