    QA Automation Lead

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a QA Automation Lead to take full ownership of quality engineering within the platform. In this role, you will lead a small QA team while remaining hands-on in building and maintaining automation frameworks. You will be responsible for test coverage, release quality, and improving testing processes across the product.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing

    • Lead a small QA engineering team, providing daily guidance, mentorship, and conducting code reviews

    • Ensure strong automated test coverage across product areas to detect regressions before production releases

    • Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines

    • Define and enforce QA testing standards, processes, and documentation

    • Collaborate with developers and product managers to review requirements and create effective test plans

    • Lead defect triage, analyze test failures, and ensure issues are resolved

    • Continuously improve test reliability, execution speed, and coverage

    • Identify quality risks early and communicate them to engineering leadership

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in QA automation

    • Proven experience owning and maintaining automation frameworks

    • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium

    • Strong programming skills in TypeScript and/or JavaScript

    • Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines

    • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools

    • Experience testing RESTful APIs and WebSockets

    • Knowledge of Git workflows and Agile development practices

    Soft Skills

    • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Ownership mindset and accountability for product quality

    • Ability to organize QA work across multiple releases and features

    • Passion for mentoring engineers and improving team quality standards
