Java Team Leader

03/04/23 30000 – 32000 PLN/MONTH Remote
We are seeking a Java Competence Lead to work as part of the global software engineering hub that supports businesses across Europe, Australia, and Mexico. Your primary area of focus will be to play a lead/supervisory role for Java Developers and be a leader and driver of the Java Competence Center. As a part of the agile team, you will take an active part in product development and supervise all java initiatives across the company. This role will be based in Warsaw, Poland but with responsibility for IT development across all Digital operations and markets.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead Java Competence Center
  • Makes sure that agile teams have suitable java resources to deliver items from their backlog, recruit and onboard new Java developers,
  • Working closely and coaching Java Developers, assisting in career development, provide guidance and technical direction
  • Make design decisions, provide direction on monolith decomposition,
  • Code activities as a part of agile team, code reviews and documentation.
  • Hands-on Technical Leader experience,
  • At least 5 years of Java experience (Financial background is a plus),
  • Strong knowledge of SQL,
  • Core Java and Spring framework knowledge,
  • Strong problem-solving skills,
  • Professional experience in agile development,
  • Hands-on Technical Leader experience,
  • Very good Level of English.
