Head of Acceleration

Position Overview

As the Head of Acceleration at Startup Hub, you will collaborate closely with the Program Lead to oversee and amplify the operational and business framework of our acceleration programs. In this role, you will design innovative programs, utilizing our wealth of knowledge, supervise operational processes, coordinate and manage acceleration programs, maintain quality standards, contribute to attracting top-tier startup founders, sponsors, and investors, and extend the reach and impact of our accelerator initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop highly effective startup acceleration programs with robust value propositions rooted in industry best practices.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the accelerator program, including continuous interaction with participating companies, curating program content, addressing cohort business needs, and defining objectives to bolster their progress.
• Lead internal resources and foster external network engagement, encompassing the recruitment of mentors, coordination of team efforts, mentorship of core program managers, startup scouting, process establishment, and performance measurement.
• Cultivate a resilient culture within the accelerator that emphasizes high performance, collaboration, mutual support, and tangible outcomes.
• Organize events and streamline logistical efforts for acceleration programs across various locations, adhering to lean principles while upholding exceptional quality.
• Cultivate relationships with numerous corporate partners, recognizing opportunities for startup collaboration, and facilitating constructive partnership discussions.
• Build an internal team to scale acceleration programs across diverse locations, industries, and formats.

• Profound experience in venture capital activities, accelerators, or early-stage investment firms.
• Proven track record in orchestrating and delivering successful acceleration programs for startups in a program management capacity.
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources, grasping its implications for investment decision making.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills at an expert level.
• Demonstrated capability to lead teams and oversee human resources.
• Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a results-driven approach.
• Excellent command of the English language.
