Functional Tester

Key role responsibilities of the Functional Tester role are:

• Frontend testing including landing page and CMS
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications and collaborating with business analysts / product owner
• Identify test cases from Software Requirements and/or Use Cases
• Create and execute manual test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation provided
• Functional and E2E test scripts dry-runs, peer reviews and execution
• Defects identification, reporting, management
• Support of Test Automation team in automated tests execution and updates

Role requirements:

• Knowledge of RWD and the Mobile First approach
• Knowledge of main security risk of websites
• Being proficient in Functional, E2E and UAT testing and test processes as a part of SDLC and STLC
• Over 4 years of experience working as Software Tester
• Knowledge of different testing phases and types: Integration, UAT, E2E, functional
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)
• Ability to communicate in English on a day-to-day basis in speaking and writing
• Problem solving skills and having ability to work under pressure
• Being a team player but also able to work independently using your initiative
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• Practical experience in API testing (an advantage)
• Experience in website performance testing (an advantage)
• Finance /Banking experience (an advantage)
• Background in Automation testing (an advantage)
• General knowledge of some programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python) (an advantage)
• ISTQB Certification (an advantage)
• Experience in Salesforce testing (an advantage)
